Overview
The Ruby Valley Trek is a true off-the-beaten-path adventure on the western fringe of Langtang National Park, named for the precious gemstones once mined in the region. Cross the spectacular Pangsang La Pass at 5,010 m for unbroken views of the Ganesh, Manaslu and Langtang ranges. The trail visits Tamang and Gurung villages where ancient Tibetan-Buddhist culture is still actively practiced — and where you may be the only foreigner in town.
